She did a great job and was wonderful to work with. She is so calm and soft-spoken. She was very conscientious – asked if I was comfortable in the chair, if I wanted anything to drink, if the water temperature was right, if the pressure on the massage was ok, if I was pleased with the procedure and if she could correct anything!!! Laura says: Services by: Will Rosson Educational Director - Ouidad Certified	In February 2012, I had my first Ouidad cut and am very satisfied. Will has proved very patient throughout the process (cutting lasted one hour). He also showed me how to use the best products for my hair and what I liked most is the fact that he used small quantities of products. The studio was clean and staff was friendly. I was also offered a hand massage, which I really appreciated. Will definitely be back.

I always walk out knowing that I look my very best. Yary is such a fantastic artist and person. What she does with color is nothing short of a miracle! Making me look like I have a splendid head of hair when it is in fact, fine and thin. She uses shadows and lights and some kind of magic -- and it looks great! And she always explains how I can make it look the same way when I do it...and it works every time. She has also introduced me to hair products that actually do what they say they will do! I've had long brown hair forever and wanted a little change...something very subtle. Anyway, I decided to finally have something different done. I made an appt. with Stephanie because I was told she was very good when doing color on people's hair. Still, I was pretty nervous as I never let anyone do anything to my hair except a good friend and my mom...and I'm a little picky when it comes to my hair. On Friday I had an appointment with Stephanie for a trim and highlights. This was my second time with Stephanie but my first experience with her doing my highlights. I was very pleased with the way she cut and styled my hair, and trusted that she would do a great job with my highlights as well. Unfortunately after I returned homw, and came into contact with my family, friends and coworkers during that week, I realized that it was not noticable that the highlights had been done. I am not one to complain, and did not wat to offend Stephanie, so I hesitated calling at first. When I eventually called, I spoke with Stephanie directly, and she dealt with me in an extremely polite and professional manner. Without question, she scheduled me for the first convenient time for me to come in and have the highlights done again at no cost. As I was approaching the appointment, as you can imagine, I was a bit nervous about seeing Stephanie again, as well as your staff. I did not want to be considered that "difficult client"! My concerns vanished as soon as I walked in the door and was greeted by your friendly receptionist, Melissa. From the moment the appointment began, I was given the royal treatment as if the first appointment had never happened. Both Stephanie and Melissa were extremely courteous and most importantly made me feel very comfortable in a situation which could have been very awkward. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my highlights, and will most definitely continue with Stephanie as my stylist. I have been in the customer service business throughout my career and I can honestly say that it would be a pleasure to have worked with Stephanie and Melissa. they certainly have set your standards high and I will feel comfortable in the future referring clients to Face Value. I absolutely cannot praise Lucinda Riley (Face Value Salon owner extraordinaire) highly enough. Much to my dismay, I developed a reaction to hair color and was quite distraught that my highlighting and color days were over…but out of her concern to help me, Lucinda did extensive research, talked to numerous cosmetic and color experts and found a line of hair products with no PPD (chemical linked to mild/severe skin reactions from hair color)! We proceeded carefully, Lucinda did sample testing on my skin to make sure I would have no reaction. This product is amazing – smells heavenly, and I had absolutely no reaction; the color is rich and my hair texture is like silk! What a blessing to have found Lucinda and my amazing stylist – Yary Lam. For all their care, customization of products just to find a product that works for me, I am very grateful and encourage anyone who wants the ultimate in service, care and professionalism to visit Face Value Salon! With my curly hair I have always avoided getting my haircut but I am so happy with my oiudad cut from Andrea that I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. Usually after I get my hair cut it looks bad for about 4 days because of the way they comb, cut,style, and blow dry it but Face Value knows exactly what they are doing. My hair looked so good when I left! Not to mention that the service is spectacular; everyone was so nice and made me feel really comfortable. I didn't just get a hair cut, I learned how to keep my hair healthy and pretty (which can be hard to do with curly hair!). When I go away to college I will not be able to get my hair cut there I'm going to have to schedule appointments for when I come back during breaks! Holly says: Services by: Gayle Lincoln Master Colorist - Certified Keratin Complex	First of all, I just can't say enough about Lucinda and Co and the great salon they run. What a professional, cutting edge salon, with personable staff that strive for perfection. I have been getting my hair done there as well as my husband. He won't go any where else. I have been VERY happy with the end results of everything that I have had done there. It doesnt matter which stylist you have, they all are top notch. Yary styled my hair for my wedding, and have to say myself, it was sassy! It was the way I had invisioned it. After the wedding, I decided I wanted a change. My hair is (or was)wavy, so Lucinda convinced me (of course no pressure) to try the Keratin process. Basically it is a protein that is put on your hair, dried with a hair dryer, and then flat ironed (to penetrate the protein into the hair). The keratin process makes your hair better. Period. My hair is now super straight, shiny and takes less time to style. It will last up to 6 months. The cost is based on per hour, so thankfully Gayle is a professional and works fast but without cutting corners! Gayle was awesome, and needless to say, my hair looks like the models on tv. I highly recommend this salon to anyone!

When my son saw my new haircut from Andrea, he said "Wow Mom,your hair is not frizzy!" I have been to the Devachan salon in New York for a "curly girl" cut and was hesitant about a new method. Andrea put my mind at ease the minute she started with me. She is very easy to talk to and is extrememly competent and confident in her abilities to cut curly hair. Needless to say, my hair was transformed beyond what I ever thought was possible. She got me out of there on time and taught me how to deal with curly hair. I didn't have a care in the world when it came to my hair and make-up and I received multiple compliments. I can't recommend Lucinda and her team enough. I am so happy that my husband and I will be living near the salon so I can visit her often!
