Boys and Girls Club Help Celebrate Face Value Grand Opening

The long awaited Official Grand Opening of the Old Trail Village Center took place Saturday, July 18th in Crozet.

Newly opened Face Value Salon, Studio & Barbershop joined with the Boys & Girls Club (BGC) of Central Virginia to celebrate the occasion.

Hundreds of people from around the area turned out for what was an unusually pleasant July morning. Folks enjoyed free coffee and snacks from Trailside Coffee, delicious Italian dishes from Anna's Restaurant, and other samplings from all of the merchants that will soon be opening in Old Trail. Many took the opportunity to make a donation to the Boys & Girls Club and received a free haircut from Face Value for their generosity. Face Value was busy most of the morning and into mid afternoon in either their Barbershop or Salon with barbers and stylists demonstrating their haircutting skills on these happy patrons.

BGC was able to meet with many of the those attending this event and talk about their work in the community and promote the upcoming Cycling Challenge that will also originate from the Old Trail Village Center later in September of this year.

Many of the kids who are involved in cycling for the Boys & Girls Club were also on hand for the event as they departed from Old Trail for their weekly ride through Western Albemarle. They arrived back in time to also receive free haircuts from the Face Value staff.

It was so rewarding to see the wonderful turnout and community support as the Village Center opened it doors. And, all in all, it was a full and rewarding day for BGC and Face Value.
